NFLSpot was the fansite that started it all. After a year or two of using a free message board to create a community, the domain NFLSpot.com was bought and launched on July 29, 2006. The message board was originally established to give fans of the NFL unbiased views and opinions of their personal favorite NFL teams. Not long after, NFLSpot.com was transformed into an active message board and a one-spot stop for all your NFL and NFL Draft news. NFLSpot.com became the fastest growing NFL fan community to hit the world wide web. With the popularity NFLSpot.com was gaining and the amount of content it was producing. We decided it was in our best interests to split the site into several pieces and network them together. Thus came the AroundTheSpot.com Network. The AroundTheSpot.com Network first began with the release of NFLDraftSpot.com on March 17, 2006. All sites are managed by dedicated fans of the NFL and its teams. As a disclaimer, none of the websites associated with the AroundTheSpot.com Network are in any way associated or affiliated with the NFL or NCAA. All sites in the network are independent fan sites.
